What's involved

Clean first,then dismantle

An above-ground storage tank can't just be cut up and scrapped. Remaining product and sludge have to be removed and characterized, the interior cleaned so it's safe to cut, and any staining around the tank pad checked for releases.

Alliance cleans, dismantles and removes above-ground tanks, disposes of the contents under manifest, and samples and remediates soil around the pad when needed. Older tanks may also have lead-based coatings, which Alliance is certified to handle.
